Dr Brendan Perry is a highly experienced, Queensland-trained Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon who provides expert, compassionate care to patients of all ages – from newborns to older adults. Known for his calm and approachable manner, Brendan takes pride in delivering clear, personalised care that makes patients feel supported and confident.
Dr Perry has a special interest in ear-related conditions such as hearing loss, chronic ear disease, ear infections, and implantable hearing devices, including cochlear implants.
He also treats a wide range of other ENT conditions that can greatly affect daily life – such as blocked noses, chronic sinus problems, and sleep apnea in both children and adults.
He particularly values the opportunity to support families who are concerned about their child’s sleep or hearing, helping them navigate what can often be a difficult time with clarity and reassurance.
Brendan is deeply committed to patient-centred care. He takes the time to listen, explain diagnoses clearly, and involve patients in every step of their treatment journey. His goal is to ensure that every patient feels heard, informed, and empowered to make the decisions that are right for them.
To help protect the health and safety of his patients, colleagues and himself – especially those who are vulnerable, such as young children, older adults, or those with complex health needs – Dr Perry wears a mask during consultations. This small but important step helps minimise the spread of respiratory illnesses. This is part of his commitment to safe, accessible and considerate care.
Dr Perry completed his ENT specialist training in Queensland, followed by advanced subspecialty training in otology, skull base surgery, and hearing implant surgery in Western Australia.
He is a consultant surgeon at Sunshine Coast University Hospital, having previously been Co-Director of the ENT Department.
Dr Brendan Perry consults private patients at Evole ENT, and performs surgery at Buderim Private Hospital, Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital, and Kawana Private Hospital.
